In the land of the QAnon conspiracy theorists, today was an important day for the followers. According to Vox, believers of QAnon had speculated that former President Donald Trump would be inaugurated again on March 4.

Believers in the QAnon movement believe that this “inauguration” was to take place on March 4th as part of the movement’s unbelievable baseless conspiracy theory that Trump would make a return for a second term to “confront a cabal of Satan-worshipping pedophiles running the Democratic Party.”

U.S. Capitol Police stated that they had received intelligence about an unidentified militia group’s speculative plot to break into the Capitol on March 4.

“The United States Capitol Police Department is aware of and prepared for any potential threats towards members of Congress or towards the Capitol complex. We have obtained intelligence that shows a possible plot to breach the Capitol by an identified militia group on Thursday, March 4. We have already made significant security upgrades to include establishing a physical structure and increasing manpower to ensure the protection of Congress, the public, and our police officers.

“Our Department is working with our local, state, and federal partners to stop any threats to the Capitol. We are taking the intelligence seriously. Due to the sensitive nature of this information, we cannot provide additional details at this time.”

CNET has reported that March 4 carries significance for two reasons: “It’s the date when the Constitution was made effective in the U.S., and it was the official inauguration date until that event was moved to Jan. 20 with the passage of the 20th Amendment. Some QAnon believers view March 4 as the date when Trump will walk back into the White House and run the country once again.”

According to Forbes, Acting House Sergeant at Arms Timothy Blodgett sent a letter to the members of Congress regarding the possible action.

“The significance of this date has reportedly declined amongst various groups in recent days,” Blodgett said. “At this time, the USCP has no indication that groups will travel to Washington, D.C., to protest or commit acts of violence.”

But, there is speculation that QAnon supporters are hoping for another date for this “inauguration.” March 20 is being floated as the next date QAnon followers have their eyes set on.
