The Livingroom Sessions: Ending Period Poverty

The Livingroom Sessions: Ending Period Poverty

Join us LIVE on THURSDAY, MARCH 11 @ 11:30 am PST for the Women’s Global Empowerment Fund LIVINGROOM SESSION to help end period poverty with Karen Sugar, WGEF Founder and Executive Director, special guest Shira Graubart, President of GirlUp Edinburgh, and a special musical performance by award-winning Haitian-American singer/songwriter, Natalie Jean.

In this inaugural virtual event, Women’s Global Empowerment Fund, along with Girl Up, explore practical steps on how to fight period poverty by building a network of trusted allies, influencing elected officials who can enact lasting change, and using social media in powerful and effective ways. Natalie Jean also performs three songs from her latest album, Where Do We Go From Here? Our goal is to help lobby for positive change in women’s access to menstrual education, resources, and hygiene products.
